Planning a wedding can be a whirlwind of emotions, and Amanda knew this all too well. Shortly after Jeff proposed, she confessed to him just how overwhelmed she felt. As the owner of Electric City Event Co., Amanda’s days were typically filled with meticulously planning dozens of weddings for her clients. And while she absolutely adored crafting these dream weddings for others, the prospect of planning her own big day seemed like a daunting task. So, Amanda and Jeff decided to take an unconventional route and let the Electric City Event Co. team take the reins, keeping them blissfully in the dark.

With their trust firmly placed in their talented team, Amanda and Jeff embarked on a journey of delightful uncertainty. They provided an outline of their dream wedding and the key vendors they wanted to be part of their special day, but the finer details remained a secret. From the menu to the choice of flowers, even the color of the bridesmaids’ dresses – it was all under wraps, known only to their dedicated event planners.

During the planning process, Jeff had very few specific requests, one of which was to forgo the first look. The anticipation and emotions that swirled as he saw Amanda walking down the aisle were beautifully sweet and heartwarming. The surprise element continued as they held a room reveal after the ceremony, taking in the enchanting space at New Leaf for the first time.

New Leaf held a special place in their hearts, and they couldn’t imagine exchanging vows anywhere else. The magic continued during cocktail hour and the reception, with Epicurean delighting everyone with their culinary expertise. Neil Nicastro kept the dance floor alive all night, ensuring that the celebration remained in full swing. The talented Brittany Boote expertly captured every beautiful moment through her lens, while Fonash Studios immortalized the entire day in video. Mattern’s Floral brought enchanting wildflower vibes and crafted the most exquisite bouquet.
