None of us imagined we would one day own a wedding venue. Amanda was building Briggs & Co. planning weddings through out the East Coast and helping hundreds of couple create celebrations that reflected who they were. Jeff had built a career in finance with the United States Marshals Service. Dave and Marie had built successful careers in real estate. 

Owning a venue simply wasn't part of the plan. 

Amanda was visiting the property with one of her planning clients, and like so many couples who visit today, she immediately fell in love with it. Yes, the views were beautiful. The barn was everything you would hope for in a wedding venue. But what stayed with her wasn't the scenery - it was the care. Every part of the property reflected the love and intention that had been poured into it. It felt welcoming. It felt peaceful. It felt like somewhere people genuinely loved celebrating. Over time, what started as a venue tour turned into a friendship with Dan and Tara, the original owners of New Leaf Farm.

When Jeff and Amanda got engaged, there wasn't another venue they would even consider. They gave us one of the greatest gifts they have ever received by hosting their wedding here, and in that moment, New Leaf Farm became more than a venue to them, it became part of their family's story.

When the opportunity came to continue what Dan and Tara had built, saying yes felt incredibly natural. Not because they had planned to own a wedding venue, but because they couldn't imagine this place becoming anything else.

Today, they have the privilege of caring for the same property that gave them one of the happiest days of their lives. Every wedding they host is a reminder of why they fell in love with New Leaf Farm in the first place, and it's an honor to share that experience with every couple who chooses to celebrate here.
