Our story
None of us imagined we would one day own a wedding venue
Amanda was building Briggs & Co., planning weddings throughout the East Coast and helping hundreds of couples create celebrations that reflected who they were. Jeff had built a career in finance with the United States Marshals Service, and Dave and Marie had built successful careers in real estate. Owning a venue simply was not part of the plan.
Amanda first visited the property with one of her planning clients, and like so many couples who visit today, she fell in love with it right away. The views were beautiful, and the barn was everything you would hope for in a wedding venue.
What stayed with her was not the scenery. It was the care.
Every part of the property reflected the love and intention that had been poured into it. It felt welcoming and peaceful, like somewhere people loved to celebrate.
Over time, what started as a venue tour turned into a friendship with Dan and Tara, the original owners of New Leaf Farm. When Jeff and Amanda got engaged, there was no other venue they would even consider. Hosting their wedding here was one of the greatest gifts they have ever received, and from that day on, New Leaf Farm was more than a venue. It was part of their family's story.
When the opportunity came to continue what Dan and Tara had built, saying yes felt natural. Not because they had planned to own a wedding venue, but because they could not imagine this place becoming anything else.
Today, our family has the privilege of caring for the same property that gave Jeff and Amanda one of the happiest days of their lives. Every wedding we host is a reminder of why we fell in love with New Leaf Farm in the first place, and it is an honor to share it with every couple who chooses to celebrate here.

Jeff
Owner
Jeff built his career in finance with the United States Marshals Service. Around the farm, he also cares for the many animals that call New Leaf Farm home.
Marie
Owner · Bar
After a successful career in real estate, Marie now handles everything bar related at the farm, so your guests are well taken care of from cocktail hour through the last call.
Dave
Owner · Maintenance
After a successful career in real estate, Dave now handles maintenance across the barn and grounds, keeping the property ready for every wedding.
