This dynamic couple, known for their love of the outdoors and vibrant personalities, brought their unique charm to their special day. Instead of opting for a traditional hotel block, Lauren, Matt, and their close-knit group of friends and family decided to make Lake Genero their home away from home. This rustic lakeside haven played host to camping, glamping, and RV adventures, setting the tone for an unforgettable weekend. The festivities kicked off with a warm welcome reception at Lake Genero, where Food and Fire from Moosic, PA, catered the event. The natural beauty of the outdoors was the perfect backdrop for this happy weekend, with the weather cooperating splendidly, offering blue skies and gorgeous summer warmth.
Lauren and her bridesmaids started their day with a calm morning of pampering, thanks to the talented team at Utopia who handled their hair and makeup. Photographer Leah Daniels beautifully documented the joy, happiness, and fun personalities of Lauren and Matt. The happy couple opted to have a first look to allow themselves more time through out the evening to enjoy with their loved ones. McCarthy knocked it out of the park and crafted stunning, brightly colored arrangements and bouquets that added a burst of color to the celebration.
The ceremony, both beautiful and hysterical, was officiated by a dear friend, setting the tone for a wedding unlike any other. In a delightful twist, this celebration found its way into the pages of a comic book. The comic book revolved around the friend who officiated the wedding, adding an extra layer of uniqueness and humor to the day. Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a delightful cocktail hour, where an unexpected guest stole the show – Little Romeo, the beer donkey from Safari Farm. This furry friend soaked up all the love and attention from guests, providing the perfect photo op and adding a touch of charm to the festivities.
DJ Gatsby always has such an incredible energy and had the dance floor packed through out the night! . The evening was filled with laughter, joy, and unforgettable moments, as friends and family celebrated the love between Lauren and Matt. McCarthy knocked it out of the park and crafted stunning, brightly colored arrangements and bouquets that added a burst of color to the celebration.
