a wedding rooted in tradition
Some people have a way of making everyone around them smile, and Chaya is one of those people. Her excitement was contagious from the moment the day began, and that joy carried through every part of their wedding celebration. Chaya and Shalom's wedding at New Leaf Farm in Waymart, Pennsylvania beautifully honored their Jewish traditions while creating a day that felt completely their own. From the custom chuppah where they exchanged vows to the celebration that followed, every part of the day reflected their families, their faith, and the excitement of beginning this new chapter together.
One of my favorite surprises came from Chaya's mom, who arranged for a horse and carriage to take the newlyweds through the property after the ceremony. We headed into one of the open fields at New Leaf Farm for portraits, and between the carriage, the scenery, and the excitement on their faces, those became some of my favorite images from the entire day.
As meaningful as the traditions were, what I'll remember most is the feeling. Chaya has the kind of energy that lifts everyone around her. You could see it in every hug, every laugh, and every person who celebrated alongside them. Her joy was impossible not to catch. Looking through this gallery, you'll certainly notice the beautiful details, but what stands out even more are the people.
