A wedding Day Built Around What Mattered Most
If I had to describe Jess and Nick in one word, it would be **joyful**. They were the kind of couple who trusted the process, found something to smile about in every part of planning, and never lost sight of what mattered most: getting married and celebrating with the people they love.Even their engagement session reflected that. Malcolm quickly decided he wanted to be part of the photos, happily stealing a little attention and reminding everyone why he's such a favorite around the farm.
Their wedding brought together some of our favorite people to work alongside. Mustard Seed served an incredible meal, Neil Nicastro kept guests on the dance floor all night, and Eric Boylan Photography documented. As a planner, I'll admit I usually love a first look. It helps the timeline flow smoothly and creates extra time together before the ceremony. Jess and Nick chose to wait until she walked down the aisle, and watching Nick see her for the first time was a reminder that there isn't one right way to do things. The look on his face as she came down the aisle was worth every minute of waiting.
The rest of the day reflected exactly who they are. They spent as much time as they could together, made space to be present with the people who came to celebrate them, and never got caught up in rushing from one moment to the next. Those are the kinds of weddings that stay with you long after the last dance.
