Some couples spend their wedding day worried about the timeline, the weather, or whether everything is going according to plan. Maggie and Mark weren't those people. From the moment the day began, they were simply excited to get married and celebrate with the people they love. It was genuine, uncomplicated happiness, and it was impossible not to feel it.
Their spring wedding at New Leaf Farm in Waymart, Pennsylvania couldn't have asked for better weather. Blue skies stretched across the property all day, making way for an incredible golden hour that Melissa Michelle Photography captured beautifully. They shared a first look before the ceremony, giving themselves a quiet moment together before the excitement of the day unfolded. Later, one of my favorite photos from the entire wedding happened almost by accident. Their dog wandered to the back of the ceremony aisle and sat watching everything unfold. It's one of those images that still makes me smile every time I see it.
Every part of the celebration felt like them. Guests picked up jars of honey to take home, gathered around the cigar bar as the evening settled in, and packed the dance floor thanks to Neil Nicastro, who always knows how to keep the energy going. Some weddings are remembered because of one big moment. This one is remembered because of a hundred little ones. The look on their faces during the first look. Their dog quietly taking in the ceremony. The laughter echoing across the lawn during cocktail hour. The last few minutes of golden light before dinner. Those are the moments that tell the story of Maggie and Mark better than anything else ever could.
